Escrow unit with the ability to temporarily hold coins. It is suitable for use in a large variety of applications including gaming machines, amusement equipment and vending applications. The compact design is made possible by the use of a small DC Solenoid. The position of the crank cam can be rotated by the Solenoid to enable a choice of any one of four locations for both flaps
